Attire: Cute & Casual! Panhellenic T-Shirt, cute bottoms.
Shoes: Sandals, sneakers, or booties.
Day 2: saturday- SEPTEMBER 21st, 2024
PHILANTHROPY DAY: ON CAMPUS
Attire: Think “Sunday Brunch”! Summer dresses, rompers, or jumpsuits.
Shoes: Nice sandals, wedges or booties.
Day 3: sunday- september 22nd, 2024
Preference Ceremony: Held at the chapter houses
Attire: Semi formal. Nice dress, romper, jumpsuit.
Shoes: Heels or wedges.
Day 4: monday, september 23rd, 2024
BID DAY at CSULB
Attire: Cute & Casual! Shorts, jeans, or skirts.
Shoes: Tennis shoes or sandals.
Letter From The VICE President OF RECRUITMENT
I hope as you read this you are filled with positivity, excitement, and anticipation on the new chapter of your life you are soon to enter! The sisterhood of Alpha Phi is beyond excited to meet each and every one of you this upcoming fall! Making the decision to go through formal recruitment is one to be proud of as it shows your courage, leadership, and drive for a sense of community here at CSULB! Alpha Phi has forever changed my life through meeting my best friends/ roommates, and given me opportunities that have shown me things that I didn’t even know I would be more than capable of! Alpha Phi has made me grow into the women I have hoped to become and I hope sisterhood can soon do the same for you!
The best piece of advice I can give you as you embark on this new journey is to be fully and authentically yourself. Though I know it sounds cliche, no truer words could be spoken. While you will be filled with both nerves and excitement remember that we want to see what makes you YOU! Sharing your passions, interests, and loves are what bring effortless connections and you closer to finding your home away from home. I hope you are all just as excited to find a sisterhood that means as much to you as Alpha Phi means to me! My sisters and I are counting down the days till we get to meet! See you soon!
